Point/A Renovation, Logistics and Offices Under One Roof
Challenge
During the construction of the new industrial facility Point/A, located just north of Uppsala, Adepteo faced a complex challenge. The goal was to integrate renovation, logistics, and office spaces under one roof into an efficient and cohesive solution, with office environments developed in collaboration with White Arkitekter.
The project placed high demands on planning, coordination, and long-term functionality. At the same time, the initiative is strategically important, contributing to job creation, strengthening regional expertise, and advancing the circular transition within the construction and real estate sectors.
The assignment
In 2024, Focused Minds initiated, in collaboration with Reach, a pre-study of Adapteo’s production operations in Sweden. The study included analysis that later formed the basis for the decision to invest in the new facilitycurrently under construction.
Following the pre-study, Focused Minds has continued to contribute to the project throughout the production phase. Our consultant, Sami Backman, has taken on the role of Project Manager, responsible for the overall execution of the project.
Implementation
Focused Minds has played a central role in the development of the new facility, with our consultant Sami Backman leading planning and project management efforts. His assignment spans the entire project lifecycle, from the initial phase involving analysis, business case development, and decision-making documentation, to driving the project through design and production, all the way to the final completion of the facility.

Outcome
The facility is expected to be completed in 2026 and will play a key role in Adapteo’s efforts to extend the lifespan of buildings while ensuring high quality in their next phase of use.
